Expedition Details

The tour begins in San José (Escazú) and we will travel from 140 to 180 kilometers from
paved roads and or ballast roads depending on the level of the participants.

– 9 days are scheduled throughout the country, 8 nights.
– 7 days of moto trails, 1 day of Rafting
– 1 private guide

Price Includes

  • Accommodation from D1 to D9 (the choice of hotels depends on availability at the time of booking) double room, breakfast included.
  • Meals from D2 to D9 without alcoholic beverages. (D9 only breakfast and lunch)
  • YAMAHA and KTM motorcycle rental equipped with luggage racks. + Gasoline

Price Excludes

  • Dinner on the first night (D1)
  • Dinner and accommodation on day 9 (D9) - Alcoholic beverages
  • Extra transportation for night outings and daytime activities (for example, entrances to national parks, adventure parks, etc ...)
  • Motorcycle equipment and luggage (possibility of renting $ 40 / day)
  • Flights from your home country to Costa Rica and back.
  • Single room (optional)
  • Complementary repatriation / hospitalization insurance (we propose an option with April Assurance)

Insurance

  • The bikes are insured by third parties, in addition to driver's insurance.
  • Each customer and participant must have their own repatriation insurance.
  • Each customer must provide proof of owning a motorcycle license/permit for all engines and a medical clearance for the extreme sports (Enduro) is required.
  • For more details, please refer yourself to the file "Terms and Conditions".

Conditions and payment details

  • 60 days prior the departure date. Deposit of 30% of the total price by wire transfer (refundable if canceled 30 days before departure date).
  • Balance 30 days before the date of the departure.
  • 100% of the total amount is due by wire transfer or credit card, no later than 30 days prior the departure.

Your Moto Trail Adventure Tour

Day 1Aeropuerto - Santa Ana

Private transfer from the Airport to the hotel.
Welcome cocktail. Informative talk. Night in Santa Ana, a typical little town 20 minutes from the airport of San José the capital.

Day 2Lap 1: Santa Ana to Tambor Beach

We will give you a quick brief on how to handle the motorcycles.
Our journey will take us to Puntarenas, we will take the ferry, crossing the Gulf of Nicoya (approx. 1h), arriving at Tambor Beach to spend the night there

Day 3Lap 2 - Tambor Beach to Samara

From Playa Tambor we follow the coast of the Peninsula to the South passing through Montezuma, Santa
Teresa, Coyote, to Samara for the night.

Day 4Lap 3 - Samara to Arenal Lake

Leaving Samara we pass through the highest point of the peninsula in the direction of Santa Cruz de
Guanacaste, Nicoya, we crossed the Tempisque river, Cañas to reach the edge of Lake Arenal,
known for its thermal baths. We spend the night at the foot of the Arenal volcano.

Day 5Lap 4 - Lake Arenal to Pacuare River

We head southeast through the area of San Carlos, Siquirres, then we climb the mountain range
central to Tres Equis, where we leave the bikes for a 1 hour rafting trip to the
lodge on the river bank where we spend the night.

Day 6Lap 5 - Pacuare River to Santa Cruz de Turrialba

Continuamos el descenso del río Pacuare en Rafting hasta Siquires para luego recuperar las motos,
dirección el Volcán Turrialba donde pasamos la noche en Santa Cruz de Turrialba.

Day 7Lap 6 - Santa Cruz de Turrialba to Dominical

Departure from Santa Cruz de Turrialba, towards Cartago through the Tapanti National Park, we take the
road to the “zero of death”, San Isidro El General, to end on the Pacific coast in
Sunday to spend the night.

Day 8Lap 7 - Playa Dominical to Playa Hermosa

We return north towards Quepos through the fields of palm trees and then along the beaches
to Playa Hermosa to spend the night.

Day 9Lap 8 - Playa Hermosa to Santa Ana

Direction of the Central Valley passing through the Tárcoles River (Cocodrilo River), Puriscal, to end in
Santa Ana. End of stay.
